Tom Miller
President
Tom has over 35 years of experience in the solid waste collection business and has led and integrated more than 200 acquisitions during his career. Currently in his role as President, he leads the operations of Eagle River.
Over the course of his career, Tom has established himself as a superior leader when it comes to acquiring, integrating, and operating hauling businesses. Prior to founding Eagle River, Tom served as SVP of operations for Progressive Waste Solutions. In his time at Progressive, he was also responsible for Corporate Development, as well as Safety. Before Progressive, Tom was a Regional Vice President at Republic Services.
Tom splits his time between Colorado and Texas with his wife of 40 years, Nancy, where they are lucky to have their three (soon to be four) granddaughters visit them as often as possible. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, golfing, hunting and spending time in the outdoors.
Eric Miller
At Eagle River, Eric is focused on business development, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, and investor relations.
Prior to founding Eagle River, Eric co-founded Kodiak Building Partners in 2011 along with Brian and three other professionals. As head of corporate development, Eric was instrumental in growing Kodiak through acquisition as well as organic growth to over $500 million in annual revenue.
Eric is an active member of the University of Denver Student Development Committee, and the Daniels College of Business Alumni Advisory Board.
Eric currently resides in the Denver area with his wife, Diana, and their two daughters. In his free time he enjoys golfing, skiing, and ice hockey.
Brian Cleveringa
At Eagle River, Brian is focused on finance and operations.
Prior to founding Eagle River, Brian co-founded Kodiak Building Partners in 2011 along with Eric and three other professionals. As CFO and SVP of Finance, Brian was responsible for building the finance organization at Kodiak. Brian was also heavily involved in operations and integration of Kodiak's acquisitions. During Brian's tenure, Kodiak grew from a startup to over $500 million in revenue annually and over 1,000 employees.
Brian currently resides in the Denver area with his wife Hannah and their two children. In his free time, Brian enjoys shooting, biking, and golf.
